Pod's a lucky little Grizz-head!!! I recently had the HONOR of meeting Shane Battier, in person, in private. A season ticket holder that has seats next to ours managed to snatch the oppertunity at the silent auction, and invited me to come down with him. Shane (yes, he introduced himself as Shane, and gave us the permission to use his first name) chatted with us, signed some autographs and was kind enough to pose for some pictures with us, all while security guards kept us safely separate from the crowd forming quickly around our little nook under the bleechers. This was better than playing 18 holes of mini golf with Earl Watson (who, let me tell you, HATES to lose at ANYTHING, lol), because it was so private. Thank you Shane!!! |
