Corebridge Educational Charter School was established to demonstrate ways to improve effective delivery of education to students from Kindergarten through Grade 8.

corebridge endeavors to raise the quality of education available to students:

			Students benefit from the individualized attention they receive both in smaller sized classes and after school tutorial programs.
			Students develop an understanding of their responsibilities and rights concerning their schoolmates, staff, family and community.
			The educational staff is sensitive to the obstacles that have previously inhibited student success.
			Students gain the tools necessary to prosper as members in a culturally literate society.

Innovative Practices

The corebridge Educational Academy Charter School is devoted to providing the highest quality educational experience to our students. While technology and current events are ever changing there is nevertheless a strong body of knowledge that should form the core of a solid K through 8 curriculum.

CEACS has chosen the Core Knowledge Curriculum to be our basis for extended learning. This program will allow our students to be competitive and ultimately successful in the 21st century. Our academic school design is goal oriented with clearly defined roles for all participants.

The faculty at CEACS will incorporate the following varieties of teaching strategies to create a learning environment that is challenging for all students:

Cognitive strategies range from simple immediate recall of recognition of facts to evaluation of ideas and actions.

Affective strategies indicate attitudes of awareness, attention, responsibility and the ability to listen, respond and react to others.

Psychomotor strategies include physical skills such as coordination, strength, manipulation, fine motor, and the use of the body in dance and athletic performance.
