King Arthur Websearch – Part 1

1.     The Kingdom of Britain was without a k________.   It was agreed among the great lords of Britain that a t___________ would be held, and the kn______ who won the tournament would be the next K_____.

2.     Sir K_____ was preparing to f______ in the tournament. He was convinced that he would w____. He told this to Arthur, his adopted br_______.   Arthur would be allowed to act as Kay's sq______ during the c______, which meant he would get to take care of his a_____ and w_______.

13.  When the S_______ started to attack King Arthur's lands again, he rode off to b______ with them. While King Arthur was g_____, Mordred made his move, and raised an a_____ to make him King instead. After King Arthur fought the S________, he had no choice but to m_____ out and fight Mordred. During the battle, they st_______ each other with mortal bl______. Mordred died quickly.

14. Bedivere, Arthur's most l_______ knight, came upon the d_____ King Arthur and asked, "________________________________?”  Bedivere agreed to do his took E________ and walked down to the water's e_____. 15.  Bedivere, even more troubled, left his king, took the sword from its hiding place, and went to the water's e_____. Then he lifted it high over his head, and h______ it out over the lake. It saluted Bedivere t______ times, and then sank beneath the s__________.

They tenderly lifted the dying king from his rough b______ on the ground, and bore him off.
