Short Bio

I am currently a Research Scientist in the Wireless Communication Lab of Intel Corporation. Before joining Intel Labs, I spent about three years as a Senior Member Research Staff and Project Leader with the Wireless Communications and Networking department of Philips Research North America in NY. I have also worked at Nokia Research Center as a Senior Research Engineer in the Networking Technologies Lab.

Throughout my career, I have been involved with several R&D projects dealing with PHY, MAC, and networking technologies for wireless communication. I have been working in areas such as scalable ultra-low power radios, cognitive radios and networks, UWB, and mmWave (60 GHz), MIMO, beamforming, to name a few. On the standardization side, I have been actively involved with IEEE 802.22, IEEE 802.15, and IEEE 802.11. I am an IEEE Senior Member.
