| Thank You for visiting us. Blue Pond Farm is located outside of Quitman, GA. The home was built in 1840 by James McMullen. The Ramsey Family, decendants of James McMullen still owns and occupies the home and land. For over 150 years the land has been used for growing cotton, corn, and peanuts as well as cattle. Through the generations, horses have been used on the farm for things such as transportation, checking crops, working cattle, quail hunting, field trials, and showing. The one thing that hasn't changed is the breed of choice. The Walking Horse has been here since the early 1900s. Visitors Welcome |
