Corvey Group Project
The information on this site is a result of a group project for one of my literature classes at the University of Nebraska-Lincoln.  For the assignment, we were to choose one piece of writing from the Corvey library--a collection of books, poems, and plays from the late 1700's and early 1800's.  After we read our piece, we analyzed it, summerized it, and presented it to the rest of the class.
Our group chose to research a play called
The Irishwoman: A Comedy in Five Acts by Lady Olivia Clarke.  We all enjoyed the play very much and would like to encourage you to read it.  For more information, click on one of the links below.
Each part of the analysis, and each act of the summary were written by a different memeber of our group.  I would like to thank my group memebers--Joanna Gerken, Amber McClung, Jannell Colton, and Elizabeth Green--for all the hard work they put into this project and for allowing me to publish their writing.
