Reading is Fundamental

Welcome to my Library!!! This is where I hope to talk about the books that I read. I'm spend a lot of time reading Birding Magazines and Field Guides, but mostly I spend my time reading smutty romance novels.

It has to be true, I read it in a romance novel

Two of my favorite authors are James Herriot and LM Montgomery. James Herriot wrote the "All Creatures Great and Small" series and LM Montgomery wrote the "Anne Of Green Gables" series. I adore the "Anne Of Green Gables" books and would recommend them for any lady, young or old. The two movies, which were produced by Kevin Sullivan are excellent. I have watched them over and over. Especially on cold and stormy days, when the wind howls. James Herriot is another favorite of mine. I was very sad to hear of his death, sometime in the last couple of years. BBC's television series, which aired on both PBS and A&E in the states, is excellent. The photography is beautiful, so beautiful that I could not wait to get to England, and Yorkshire. I was lucky enough to do so when Russell took me there for our Honeymoon. In fact, his picture on his home page was taken on Hadrian's Wall, which is in Northern England, near Scotland's border.
