| Once upon a time... |
| ...there was a little girl named Cora. She was born and raised in Germany by her loving parents Petra and Dietmar. She also lived with Eric, her brother, with whom she had fights, friends and fun! :) One day little Cora thought about spending a high school year in the states. Her parents gave her the chance to go! So, Cora ended up in Lead, South Dakota. At first she thought she was in the middle of nowhere, but then she realized, that she had the time of her life. She met great people and made true friends likeTerry, Shere, Sheldon, Sarah, Eve, Jared, Jayson, Christine, Sonja, Jason, Missy, Tracy, Vince, Bettina, Mrs. Ammons and and and...! It was always little Cora's dream to have her own German restaurant in Deadwood,SD. Unfortunately it was not easy for Germans to go to college in the States and so she had to go back to Germany and finish school there. In Germanland, she showed her friend Tanja how great it is in SD. Now Tanja might even live in the States one day.! :) When Cora got back, she moved from Nuremberg to Munich, went to culinary school and made a training for restaurant management at the Mvenpick Restaurant Munich. This is where she got to know Jrg, her boyfriend with whom she lives happily ever after. After her schooling she stayed with the Mvenpick company and worked like a dog! After all those years at Mvenpick, Cora got a 'normal job' at StyleVision in Grnwald, next to Munich. A company that sells hotel supplies, like bath robes, slippers and any souveniers from hotels. Well, after only a year, she realized, that she needs the daily challenge of the restaurant business. So she accepted an offer as a manager of the Isarbru Restaurant in Pullach. She worked hard and gave the restaurant back its former good reputation. Then she left Bavaria to find a new challenge in Rhineland-Palatinate. She lives now close to Koblenz, between Cologne and Frankfurt/Main. In April 2007 she will start her own business... a field kitchen as a 'little different' snack bar! Keep your fingers crossed...! Thank you for reading Cora's life! :) |
