If you notice in the picture the patch has a two blue banners one above the shield and one below but the banners are blank, in actuality the top should read "INDUSTRIA" and the bottom should read "FOUNDED 1843" but when these patches were originally made (some time in either the late 70's or early 80's) it was accidentally left off and no one has ever decided to fix it.
Lawrences original patch (from around the 40's & 50's) had the same picture as the recent one (though not as colorful) and its banners did have the writting on them, though small and hard to read.
In the years between the original patch and the present patch there was another patch made of felt and rather plain looking.
