I chose the websites listed mainly because of their interactive features.  I think that when children engage in learning they will gain chances to reflect on their learning.  I further think that the internet will be a tool in which I can find an abundance of further websites, which will allow me to create more meaningful lessons that will capture the interests of my students.  I feel that if I capture and feed the interests of the children in my classroom, it will help them to become more knowledgeable about fractions as well.

I must admit that mathematics used to be a frightening subject area for me until I located my experts.  These people gave me the confidence I needed in order to understand math as well as teach math.  I feel that I can contact the people listed at any time in order to obtain further knowledge in this area as well as gain new insights on presenting material in the area of mathematics and fractions.
