Classroom Computer Sign-Up Sheet
I know that I did not list specific times during the day that the students would be working on the computer. I did this intentionally because I plan to integrate the usage of computers into all aspects of my teaching. Some educators feel that there is not enough time in the day to teach "one more thing." However, I believe technology to be another valuable tool, which will "assist" me in my teaching. I intend to keep a record of the students who will be working on the computer during the day, and I foresee each student having a time throughout the day that they will be working on some form of technological curriculum.
School Computer Lab Hours
The computer lab at our school is divided into various time slots for the different teachers at the school. As our school is a large one, teachers have to rally together to in order to make the system work. I have found that many of the teachers do not use their "once a week" time slot and are willing to let others take it which I definitely plan to do! We have a top of the line computer lab at East Franklin School, and I am very excited about utilizing this facility with my students.
