I developed this lesson plan in order to help my students review abstract concepts dealing with fractions. However, I feel that in using technology I will motivate and encourage my students to learn fractions in a fun and unique way. Fresh Baked Fractions allows the student to work on their individual level. Furthermore, by working on their individual level they will gain self-confidence, as the students will see themselves making progress as they progress up each level of the game. I feel that I must always be aware of my students and their needs as individuals rather than "whole group" as this will help me base my planning on their interests and needs.

as well. Furthermore, this program allows the students to review
needed preparation for the end of grade testing required by North Carolina.
I like the fact that it offers a test review in a fun way rather than a
worksheet review.
