Classroom Layout
Classroom community will be my main focus as a teacher along with technology. I hope that by using tables and supplying plenty of computers, it will help me to accomplish this goal. I totally believe in the concept of collaborative learning and hope to create small communities within a larger "whole class" community.
Furthermore, I think that when the students can review this technology portfolio on the Internet that they will also get excited about the project they could create as well using the program Microsoft Publisher. I like the way that a person can maneuver the shapes as well as adjust the colors. This summer, I plan to install a computer connected to the class T.V., which will allow my T.V. screen to become my computer screen. In this way, students will use this class computer in order to display their research and projects to the entirety of the class. Also, I can use this computer to teach technology as well as conduct whole class procedures and lessons.
