We are Virtuists

            WE, the citizens of The Keep, now stand amidst an ideological war; a war which threatens the very moral fiber and souls of our constituents. Nihilists have overtaken our generation, with zealous fervor, and seek to assimilate The Keep. Despite their fast and radical progress, their presence remains invisible because their soldiers are draped within a commoner’s clothing. In the past several years, we have seen The Keep decline in morality as things of morally contemptible nature have come to be accepted as normality; we have witnessed our collective attitude shift to foster tolerance for these miscreants who harm our society. YOU have been called upon to CHOOSE the fate of The Keep.

            Nihilism seeks to destroy the foundations of all society by replacing the ideological morals and virtues which form society’s foundation with questionable or narcissistic ideas. Indeed, we in The Keep have come to find ourselves surrounded by these cretins. These nihilists flock together under the banners of progressivism and socialism—feminists, socialists, progressivists, and anti-theists—and seek to promote their agenda through haranguing and sophistry over true discourse or honest discussion.

For far too long have we seen good citizens of The Keep be accosted by these socialist progressives and now we as the demos stand against them in unity. We are not a conservative movement. We are not a liberal movement. We are those who stand against nihilism, side by side, in the name of virtue because far too long have we, the demos, been divided over petty affairs before a much more dangerous foe. We are Virtuists.

We as humans are creatures of rational self-interest. Rational self-interest is not selfishness because it is due to rational self-interest that we feed our families and help strangers. Thus, self-interest is the door to altruism. Naturally, as we fend for ourselves in reasonable manner, we are competitive and seek to challenge ourselves to access limited resources. It is this competitive nature which has lifted humanity from the lowly kingdom of beasts to our current stature. It is this competitive nature which nurtures growth and sophistication. From this nature, our need to push ourselves and drive the boundaries further back, we see great rises in technology and improvement of the human condition. Competitive nature, controlled in fair limits by the law, propels our society forward beyond others but now there are those who seek to stop our great progress and ironically under the false flag of ‘progressivism.’

             Progressivism is rooted in envy and their primary agenda is to steal from those who have rightfully earned their wealth. These people look at the successful man and wonder why they themselves are not so successful. Why has the progressive socialist not been successful in competition? Of course, the conclusion is one they fear to face because it will reveal an uncomfortable truth: they didn’t have what it took and there was someone greater who took their place and rightfully so in the world of us competitive humans. The progressive socialist however refuses to accept this and believes it must be due to some unfairness. So they engage in nonstop theorizing and come across an answer which satisfies their presumptions: the successful man is a contemptible thief and we must take away his stolen goods. Now the progressive-socialist seeks to rob the successful out of envy. But the white man has had a head start from suppressing Negroes. These progressives seek to trace all history in an attempt to see who stole what from who and correct for two thousand years of injustices and return goods and property to those who were stolen from; indeed, this is a miserable and impossible venture. And of course, such an accurate account cannot ever be made so the progressive socialist will fabricate their own strategy of economic redistribution. This will end with strangers in your house taking your belongings and handing them over to the ‘select and chosen few’ who actually deserve it. They seek to blame you and shame you, shamelessly, for injustices done before you were born. After that, these supporters of “liberty” and “equality” will destroy your natural right of property to rob you. These cowardly cretins however do not have the guts to physically rob you – they seek to make you so guilty that you will give it away or to change the law of the land (progressivism is to change the morals of the day) to make it “virtuous” and “good” to steal from those who are successful. Thus, progressivism is envious robbery.

            It would be wise men of history such Plato, Aristotle, and Tocqueville who predict such would occur in democracy. If the people were given too much power, democracy would degenerate into disorder by the ‘tyranny of the majority’. When people receive too much power, they will seek only their own ends and direct policy in such a manner that they will rob from those who are better off out of greed; this is indeed an example of human self-interest run amok outside of the jurisdictions of law and fairness. Thus, our founding fathers established our great nation as a republic, a product of political evolution; it is a necessary compromise between democracy (congress who represent the mass), aristocracy (senate who represent the elite), and monarchy (president who represents the old ways). According to Polybius, it is this type of mixed government which gives a nation longevity because it prevents corruption. Now, however, there are those who seek to destroy this delicate balance of checks and balances to amass power into the hands of the demos. There are now these socialist progressives who seek to destroy harmony and think themselves wiser than the ancient philosophers whose wisdom has been proven time and time again. How ironic these people who are so critical of history completely failed to see the historical events which undermine their own positions.

            Enough is enough! We guardians of virtue will not stand idly by as such morally contemptible thoughts reverberate across the walls of The Keep. We, the citizens, will rise up and challenge these foes of freedom and morality; these foes, who seek to suppress human nature with their pseudointellectual banter and talks of so-called equality.

            We are Virtuists who embrace human nature and competition as a way of life. We judge each man and woman as an individual who is their own world apart from the color of their skin, history of their people, and size of their coffers because we are lovers of meritocracy; we judge a person by their merits. We love those who show the fire to succeed and wish to best all those around themselves. We love those with the desire to learn. We love those who love themselves and do not hate themselves because of the color of their own skin. We are those who love our land and our country. We are those who love the Republic and heed warnings of the past given to us by those much wiser.

We are Virtuists.

            The fate of The Keep is up to you, citizen. YOU must decide what the future will look like. YOU must make a difference. Will you choose the cultural relativism of these destroyers of morality? Or, will you stand strong against these miscreants and uphold LAW?
