            Whitney changed and climbed off of her balcony and landed softly on the ground.  She quickly and swiftly ran across the courtyard and easily scaled the fence.  Whitney slipped through town virtually undetected.  The aliens patrolled the area but never saw her.  Whitney reached the alley behind Bosco's and used the secret knock.  She was allowed to enter.
             Bosco closed the door behind her and stared at her with surprise.  �The others have already left.  You�re too late for the meeting.�
             �I needed to warn them about the alien troops," she said while breathing heavily.
             �Alien troops?  You mean the guards?� Bosco asked.
             �No, actual troops,� Whitney announced.  �I just overheard it.  Brent's men seem to discover things quickly.  He has a transporting business--probably something illegal.�
             �It�d be too late to warn them now,� Bosco informed her.  �They should be heading back to their homes by now.  You can stay here if you don't want to go back out there.�
             �No,� she said with a sigh and shook her head, �if I don't get back home, Brent will find I skipped out.  I'll see you tomorrow night around eight.�
            Whitney left Bosco's Bookstore and walked along the alley.  She was about to enter the main street, when she saw the alien troops.  They were getting into their small hovercraft vehicle.  Whitney quickly turned around and almost ran into two men.  She stared at Brent�s men and shook her head.
             �Great,� she muttered lowly.
