This past weekend Lisa and I headed down to the Charles to watch the Head of the Charles Regatta - one of the largest crew races in the world. It was pretty neat to watch - the boats start at 10 sec intervals so there's consistently boats rowing by. This picture was taken from the Anderson bridge, which is on JFK street, and connects the main Harvard campuses with the business school campus, which is south of the Charles. The bridge you see in the picture is the Weeks footbridge, a pedestrian bridge Lisa and I cross frequently on our runs.
Also, I must admit the pic is slightly altered. Behind the red dome there is a large apartment building which I removed from the picture. So, if you're familiar with Cambridge, don't worry, the building is still there, just not in my picture. |
