It's been a while since I put up a new commentary and for anyone who cares, I am sorry. My life has been quite busy recently and for that i am actually thankful. I guess it has been over two weeks since the last one. In that time a lot has gone on. Iwant to share a little bit of that with you. Shortly after the last commentary was the Fort Madison Rodeo where Ozzy, Zach, and I went to party for the weekend. Hell half of Greene County was up there and it turned into a reunion of sorts. I saw Jennifer McMillen (Harmon) who I had graduated with, and many other people from school. I also saw Dusty for the first time in too many months. We partied and partied and I paid for it the last night but oh well it was funny. We also met some new people. One in particular will always stand out, Gayle. Gayle stopped by with guitar in hand (and hash pipe in pocket) and played some good old folk music for us. He came by the next night as well and it was enjoyed by all. Then the weekend was done and it was time to head back home with the trucks full and our heads aching. The following day after our return home, my Grandfather went into the hospital to have his right knee replaced. He was very nervous about the surgery, so Mom, Grandma, Aunt June, Aunt Etta Mae, and myself went to the hospital to be with him when he got out of surgery. He stayed in the hospital for three nights and during that time I house sit for him and Grandma. Everything went well and he is now enduring the physical therapy part of it. Hopefully in a few weeks it will all be worthwhile for him. Also in the time frame I was gone it seemed everyone had a birthday. My Mom and my Dad's birthday were both on the Seventh of September, Pat Meeks was on the Ninth, and Crystal's birthday was the Twelfth. There were many other peoples in there as well but I can't remember all of them. Then it was back to work and the normal B.S. but we won't talk about that part of hell. Finally, last weekend was the first annual Bluffs Car and Motorcycle show. My Uncle asked me to take my Motorcycle up there. He took his Motorcycle, my old Cougar, and one of his customers took the Bearcat that John has restored up there as well. So Cooper's Car Clinic had four different representatives there so how many trophies did we come home with you ask?........FIVE! Yes, five trophies and they went like this.
I think we did very good. I was so excited to win first place in my class over the other 10 bikes and I have shown the trophy to nearly everyone. We are going to take them to the Cruise Night Show in Jacksonville this weekend. I don't plan on winning anything at this one this year because this one will be huge but maybe next year. Well that is a short recap of what I have been up to lately. I hope to get more frequent with the commentaries again but hey no guarantees, I have a lot of hobbies that will be taking my time as well.
Until next time,
