Coopedaddy's Commentaries Presents:
A Lot of Fun, So Little Sleep

Li'l Ole Me

The weekend of the dating has finally ended, not that it was a bad weekend. It was not bad at all, just long and tiring. It was three dates, three days, two girls, three hours of sleep per night, and one tired Coope. Not complaining at all just stating how tired it left me. I will probably be doing it again, but I am going to have to figure out how to add the sleep in there next time.

I want to say one thing. Do not waste your money on MIB 2. It was a decent movie but would have been better to rent than pay out the butt to see in a theater. The original MIB was much better than this sequel. Not trying to tell you what to do but I just wanted to warn you.

I didn't get to do all that much riding this weekend, unfortunately. I did take it on my date Saturday. We went to Jacksonville for the good ole dinner and a movie thing. Then I went for a quick ride with Justin on Sunday but that was about it. I guess I will just have to make up for it this week and ride as much as possible.

Well I think I will be cutting this commentary very short this week, because the rest of the details from the weekend are for me to know and you all to wonder (mwooh-ha-ha-ha). Not to mention the lack of sleep from the weekend makes me want to take a nap during this lunch break. I will leave you with a little something from my ramblings (it will be appearing in the ramblings section as well). So as the curtain falls, I bid you all goodnight.

have you ever watched when, someone lost their soul,
lost their heart, lost their mind, lost sight of the goal?
Can you fathom the agony that haunts them now?
Not wanting to go on, not even knowing how.
Would you offer your hand, or offer an embrace?
Could you put a smile upon their sad frowning face?

Later,

Various Artist Song of the Moment

Good Times

Counting Crows

The gentleman caller in the blue suede shoes
He don't know what to do
He just wants to look good for you
So he rushes in to tell you what he did today
but he can't think of what to say
I think you listen anyway.

He wants to have a good time just like everybody
He doesn't want to fall apart

You watch him as he stutters over what to say
It's just a little game you play
It's no easier for you some days
You wish you could tell him it'll be okay
But you feel a little shy these days
Cause everybody goes away

You just want to have a good time
Just like everybody else
You don't want to fall apart this time

I can look into your eyes and see the mess we're in
Well darling, if it's shit came out
Then I suppose that it's shit went in
Even though I couldn't say I've been the places that you've been
You know he made my heart real strong
Even if he made my head real thin

I want to have a good time
Just like everybody
And I don't want to fall apart

I just want have a good time
Just like everybody else
And I don't want to fall apart this time
So would you please invite me in

I really love the red haired girls
I'm just another boy from texas
Come on and take a spin
I got a brand new set of wings

Smashing Pumpkins Song of the Moment:

Blank Page

Blank page is all the rage
Never meant to say anything
In bed I was half dead
Tired of dreaming of rest
Got dressed drove the state line
Looking for you at the five and dime
Stop sign told me stay at home
Told me you were not alone

Blank page was all the rage
Never meant to hurt anyone
In bed I was half dead
Tired of dreaming of rest
You haven't changed
You're still the same
May you rise as you fall
You were easy you are forgotten
You are the ways of my mistakes
I catch the rainfall
Through the leaking roof
That you had left behind
You remind me
Of that leak in my soul
The rain falls
My friends call
Leaking rain on the phone

Take a day palnt some trees
May they shade you from me
May your children play beneath

Blank page was all the rage
Never meant to say anything
In bed I was half dead
Tired of dreaming of rest
Got dressed drove the state line
Looking for you at the five and dime
But there I was picking pieces up
You are a ghost
Of my indecision
No more little girl
