Welcome back to the Commentary. I hope everyone is enjoying the beginning of summer. I have been quite extensively. I also hope everyone has been able to keep those smiles on their faces as much as possible as well. On with the commentary. Another weekend has passed but it was far from being just another weekend. It was packed with all sorts of stuff to do. I guess I can share it all with you if you would like to hear. Would you like to hear? ? ? ? . . . . . . Well that is too bad because you are going to hear it anyway, you whiny little punks! ! ! ! I guess I should settle down before I start going on. (Okay, Okay, Okay, Deep Breath. In through the nose, out through the mouth. In through the nose, out through the mouth. Okay better) Let's take a ride. Thursday was my last day of work for the week because I took a vacation day Friday to get the Motorcycle ready for the nice weekend that was ahead. So Thursday night after work I went to Amy Sue's place to see her before I went to my friend Amy Van Meters birthday party (dang there are a lot of Amy's). Amy Sue and I sat around and talked for a while and then it was off to Amy Van Meter's birthday party at the VFW so I went down there to do the traditional get the birthday person plastered thing. That was all fine and good until it turned into my birthday party as well. My birthday was the following Sunday so they decide to get me in on the festivities as well. In other words they had the shots lined up in front of me as well as in front of Amy V. I am planning on that being my last really drunken night for quite a while. I am not exactly quitting drinking but I am going to slow down a lot. Anyway so that ended up being a night of these friends trying to make me puke as well. Well it didn't happen but I was really feeling it by the time I headed home at 2:00 in the morning (don't worry I got a ride so it was okay). Then I drank a lot of water, took some aspirin and set my alarm. Then it was off to the land of deep, deep sleep where the only occupants of the land are dreams. The alarm goes off at 7:30 A.M. on Friday morning and I am up and off to the shower (okay so maybe it wasn't so quickly that this happened but I did do it). Then I got dressed and veged out in the chair for a while until I woke up a little more. I finally got moving at about 9:00 A.M. and got to do something. It was raining out but I wanted to Shine up the Motorcycle for the weekend. I kept the bike under the carport and polished all the chrome, cosmetic engie parts, and anything that wasn't painted. The paint I am not touching until after I get it back to my uncles shop to be buffed out. Anyway I did this for two hours and then went and got some lunch and then sat out in the carport eating lunch and staring at my bike. I am a HUGE loser. The bike did look great though and the chrome was just a shining. I finally tore myself away from the bike and went inside to watch "Chasing Amy" on DVD. Then hooked up with Mike and Toni to hang out for the night. I was home and in bed by 11:30 so it wasn't a late night. Saturday I got up at 7:00 A.M. (I don't know what is up with me and getting up early on weekends any more) and went down to see Amy Sue. I had to do this early in the morning because I had Pat's bachelor party early that afternoon. So Amy and I sat and watched some TV and talked. It was a fun morning even though we really didn't do anything. I had to take off kinda early so I could get back to White Hall and get some Motorcycle riding in before the Bachelor party. I hopped on the bike and ran around a while with no real place to go. Then I finally went by and got Mike and headed to Roodhouse to hook up with Pat for his bachelor party. After playing Spider-Man on the PS2 for a while we went to meet up with the final member of our bachelor party crew. Then it was on to the first stop of the party. The Strip club to get Pat his last view of women before he signs his life away to the devil. We stayed there longer than I would have liked, I guess I am not into the stripper thing any more. We finally left there and went to Toni's Uncle's bar. It was an okay bar but Toni's cousin Terry was bartending and she just rubs me the wrong way. So we stuck around there for three hours which was about two and a half hours top long but I wasn't in charge of this party so I sat there and kept my mouth shut. We finally left and headed to Jacksonville to hit a couple bars there but by this time it was already 12:30 A.M. on Sunday (My birthday not that it mattered) and all the bars close at 1:30 or 2:00 A.M. I wasn't looking to get drunk, and I wasn't close anyway, I just wanted to do the bar hopping thing. Well we hit two more bars in Jacksonville and then headed home to meet the women. So we headed back to Mike's house and I went home shortly thereafter, I guess it was about 3:30-4:00 A.M. and set the alarm again and went to bed. The alarm went off at 8:30 A.M. and woke me up for my lovely Birthday. Which really meant it has finally made it to the point of my birthday being nothing but another day like all the others. I am not saying it was not a good day I am just saying it has kinda lost its meaning anymore. I went straight to my Motorcycle and started riding. I had no where to go and no where to be so it kinda made it nice. I stopped by and saw Justin and Sally and checked out their new place. Then I went on riding with no real purpose. I went home and saw Mom and then went to Jones house to meet Grandma and Grandpa. I sat and talked to them for a short bit. Then I rode some more. I went to Carrolton to see Dad and then to Alton to hook up with Amy and her Mom to go out for the night. Amy's Mom went home to get ready and Amy and I went riding around. She kept asking what I wanted to do and I kept saying I didn't care. I really didn't I just wanted to be with her and hang out. So we rode around and went to a CD store and then went to Medora to meet her Mom and go out for the night. We got to Medora and her Mom broke out the black mail pictures that I had heard about. We looked at those for a while and talked about my travels. Then we were off to eat. They were taking me to Red Lobster. We sat and talked amongst ourselves and I got to hear all sorts of funny stories about Amy Sue. We had a nice dinner and talked a lot then we took off. Louise (Amy's Mom) took off for home and Amy and I went back to her house. I knew I couldn't stay long because I was on my motorcycle and I knew I was already going to freeze and it was only going to get worse the later it got. I stayed about a half hour and then said my thank yous and hopped on the bike and headed home. I knew I had rode in colder weather but I never rode as far as I had to that night and I was an ice cube by the time I got home. I had a good time on the ride and I had a wonderful night with Amy and her Mom so it was all worth it in the end. WAKE UP!!!!!!!!! I figured you needed that since I probably bored you all to death with my weekend report. I want to thank Mom, Grandma, Grandpa, Uncle John, Aunt Jennifer, Amy Sue, Louise, Amy V., Tina, Crystal, Toni, Mike, Lori, Pat, Nicole, Dad, Connie, Tera, Leigh, Katey Bugg, Dalton, Justin, Sally, Jody, Carla, David, Donna, Flip, and everyone who sent out their birthday wishes to me. I love you all and I really appreciate your thoughtful words. Now it is time for my closing words: When you are striving to find something you will never find anything with truth. It is only when you relax and let things happen that you find what you wanted.
Take care,
Sorry none this week I will have this next time but this week there was no time for movies.
