Li'l Ole Me

Today once again is dedicated to all of those around me that have helped me through everything in this life. This is going to be kinda short but I think it says alot.

I sat at the computer the other day and thought about everyone and how much they all helped me and how hard it was to tell them vocally how I felt. So I sat there and like so many times before let my fingers ramble over these keys. What came out was straight from the heart because it just flowed out of me without any thought.

So here it is. This is for Mike, Toni, Justin, Sally, Pat, Nicole, Alan, Misty, Ozzy, Bill, Crystal, Tim, Josh, Amber, Jody, Carla, Shelly, Tina, Steph, My Mom, My Dad, Grandma, Grandpa, Connie, Tera, Leigh, Uncle John, Aunt Jen, and all of the great people in my life. Most of all this is for those three little glowing faces that brighten every day for me, Dominic, Dalton, and Katelyn. May they all have many great friends like mine.

To all of my friends and family:

We come to each other as many individuals but when we meet, we are but one, brought here by friendship and united by the love for each other and ourselves. Rolling on down the long, bumpy road of life, we let our troubles, fears, and disappointments fall away and lose ourselves in the joy of our togetherness. Together we free our mind of all we have known and all we have thought to have been fact. Tomorrow is too far away to worry about what it may bring along with it. Tomorrow may never come. Today is here and we must all enjoy it's uniqueness. No matter what happens, today is completely different than every day before. Nothing is set in stone besides death, and death still has a certain mystery to it. Today we must take each other's hands as we fly high above these burning troubles, problems, and worries. Do not worry about how far we will go before we fall because until the time comes, it does not exist. Within us, we possess everything we need to survive. Within us burns a fire that was started by the friends we care about most.

Our life is our fire, our fire is our friends, and our friends are our life. Without one the others cannot exist.

Together we can take on the world and make it bow down before us in defeat.

We all know that we will prevail together, together we can never fail. No matter where we roam, we are never alone.

Together we have all we need. Together we are one.

Thanks for always being there.

Movie of the Moment

Drunken Master

Jackie Chan at his best. Is there another guy in the world that can kick ass at everything like this guy? The story of a son that practices the martial art of drunken boxing, where you must be drunk to do it correctly. His father hates the form but Jackie uses it to defeat the enemies throughout this movie. With Jaw dropping maneuvers and stunts taking place throughout. Definitely built around the action and not the plot this movie is still a great see.

Smashing Pumpkins Song of the Moment:

Muzzle

I fear that I'm ordinary, just like everyone
To lie here and die among the sorrows
Adrift among the days
For everything I ever said
And everything I've ever done is gone and dead
As all things must surely have to end
And great lovers will one day have to part
I know that I am meant for this world
My life has been extraordinary
Blessed and cursed and won
Time heals but I'm forever broken
By and by the way...
Have you ever heard the words
I'm singing in these songs?
It's for the girl I've loved all along
Can a taste of love be so wrong
As all things must surely have to end
And great lovers will one day have to part
I know that I am meant for this world
And in my mind as I was floating
Far above the clouds
Some children laughed I'd fall for certain
For thinking that I'd last forever
But I knew exactly where I was

And I knew the meaning of it all
And I knew the distance to the sun
And I knew the echo that is love
And I knew the secrets in your spires
And I knew the emptiness of youth
And I knew the solitude of heart
And I knew the murmurs of the soul
And the world is drawn into your hands
And the world is etched upon your heart
And the world so hard to understand
Is the world you can't live without
And I knew the silence of the world
