Coopedaddy's Commentaries Presents:
I Guess It is Back

After a few requests and some time to think about it all, I have decided to keep the commentaries going. These commentaries are ways for me to vent, to release some emotions, and have a little fun in the process so I decided I didn't want to give them up yet. There is going to be a slightly different format now, though. At the end of all of my commentaries I will be adding a movie of the moment section and a Smashing Pumpkins' song of the moment. These are just to give some suggestions for the two subjects.

I really wasn't sure about doing these anymore. Obviously there was a ver long period in there where I didn't feel like writing these but I feel like it again. If for no other reason than to be able to voice my feelings. When I wrote the Valentine's day commentary (as angry and upset as it may have been) I was planning on leaving on that note but my friends would know that that attitude wasn't me. I am the guy that even when my world is burning and my emotions crumbling, I hide it all and do all I can to make others smile. I am not saying that all of my commentaries will be happy go lucky but I am saying I will be myself and try to entertain everyone who reads. I want someone to leave these commentaries felling better than when they come in. Some times this just won't happen but hopefully many times it will.

I hope to have the first real commentary up soon and I hope you all will enjoy reading it. As of this moment you will just have to deal with this one.

Peace Out,
Coopedaddy

Movie of the Moment:
Empire of the Sun

Probably my favorite movie of all time. Empire of the Sun is set in a British inhabited place in China during World War II. They soon become under attack and as everyone is evacuating the son is seperated from his family and after returning home and trying to survive their he is taken to various concentration camps. The story is of how he learned to survive on his own in these camps. John Malkovich is a star in this movie and he puts on an excellent performance. I recommend this movie to anyone with 3 hours to spare. It is now on DVD.

Smashing Pumpkins' Song of the Moment:
The Imploding Voice

Everywhere you are
Is everywhere you've been
Just lost to the beat
Punching thru your skin
You don't know what to do
But still you wanna crawl
All thru the broken glass
That's eveywhere you are

Your love must always be true
Your love must always be you

Everywhere you are
Anywhere you go
Even if you're starved
It matters what you do
But even if you've gone too far
You can follow you
Everywhere you are

And in your mind
You were alone
All this time
With everything you were
And every smile you wore
Still locked in your heart

Everywhere you are
Everywhere you are
Every single chard
Everywhere you are
You're never too far
Cause anywhere you'd go
Even to the stars
All you have to do
Is play the part of who you are
The rest is up to you

Phase unwound
By yourself
Atom bomb
On the shelf unsung
Pause of light
Pulse of life
New face dawns

Everywhere you are
And everywhere you go
Even if you're down
Even if you're low
It's in the thought of you
It's in the eyes of all
Astride a storied past
That's everywhere you are

Your love must always be true
Your love must always be you

Everywhere you are
Anywhere you go
Even if you're scarred
It's all a part of you
But ever should you put it down
You can never lose me
Everywhere you are
