   STORK    EXPRESS     Childrens Ferry Travel
WHAT:

This is a service designed for the DEPARTURE BAY to HORSESHOE BAY ferry run (Nanaimo to Horseshoe Bay in British Columbia, Canada) for children who need to travel and parents who'ld rather not.

WHEN:

Most children require weekend trips so the regular schedule is for friday and sunday nights.  We generally take the 5:00 pm ship from Departure Bay and the 7:00 pm ship from Horseshoe Bay.

We arrive in Horseshoe Bay at 6:35 pm, and Departure Bay at 8:35 pm.  These times are subject to change, so I generally contact parents with an updated E.T.A..

Trips are not restricted to fridays and sundays, especially if there is a ProD
or other school holiday.

BOOKING/RESERVATIONS:

Resservations are taken from Monday to Wednesday for the upcoming weekends travel.  One weeks notice for any 'special' (not friday or sunday) trips is a good idea.  This service is customer driven, I try to accomodate any travel needs.

COST:

A one way trip is $30.00 for a single child, $50.00 for two, $65.00 for three. These prices are for RELATED (siblings) children, include ferry fare, and are subject to change.  Payment is cash only, and due on or before the day of travel.

A late fee of $10.00 applies to any reservation received after 9:00 pm Wednesday, for the upcoming weekend.

Any person failing to pick up a child is subject to a FINE of $50.00, plus the cost of a one way trip - a total of $80.00.  The child will be returned to Nanaimo.

Trips with only one child  are subject to an additional $15.00 'special' charge.  This fee is to offset the increased cost of a solo trip.

A $15.00 cancellation fee applies to any bookings cancelled between 9:00 pm Wednesday and the upcoming weekend.
