| Seasoning for Flowers With petals filled with sunshine and faces see the sky. The stems strong and sturdy, supporting fragile butterfly's The hummingbird dips it's beak, the nectar sweet and thick. The butterfly uncurls its stem, and draws some with her wick. Petals fall as witherd leaves, the changing of the guards. A new bud shows its form the old scattered in the yard. Fall just around the corner, and blooms cease their lives. Busy bees take the nectar and store it in their hives. Bitter winds bring change as the season slowly ends. Fall and winter have to pass before the spring begins. They lie in wait the winter chill, the snow that protects them. Then bright sunshine spring, their faces point toward heaven.
