Within These Mountains Lies My Destiny
That I might dwell my soul within these mountain crevices and feel the power of the protector. That I might see in my own heart the wisdom he hast bestowed only hidden that I might find. He has given me strength to find myself in all the misery I have bottled within myself yet to discover. All these things I've been given to lead me down the path of right. I only need to choose my direction as he has left the signs for me to follow. Let me not fail in my efforts to walk the narrow ledge of hope and good. Let the snow cover my worthless deeds and deepen fresh prints I can look back on with pride. Of the protector I ask only to let me try my best and please his will. May the mist and clouds shroud my anger and bitterness within. Wind spirit keep my trail clean and clear so I may see the way. Oh mighty Sol warm my cold heart again. Let the eagle take me to new heights I've never been before that I might view the land my fathers walked before me. I ask only they guide me to their home in the sky when I have done my work here on the plains and vallies of their homeland. Rest my brothers and sisters for I will join you in peace and we shall sit by the fire and speak of old memories and journies we have past made together. Only I be given time to reconcile the past so I may join the flock in my time of departure. Whisper no secrets, I will find the path as I need the time to unwravel my thoughts anew.
