Love In The Firelight

This room will never be the same unless you're by my side.
Firelight flickered beams abound reflecting from the walls.
Your fingertips around my neck as lips press together.
Blood running warmer, sweet sensations that I feel.

Cuddle by the fireside when it's cold in the dark.
Wrapped in a blanket as you sit in front of me.
One hand across your tummy as the other cups your breast.
My arms clutch you closer as I whisper words of love.

Our huddled naked bodies bring heat into the night.
My kiss upon your neck and smell of sweet perfume.
As you sit in this cradle of love heart beating wildly,
smothered kisses trace your skin in the soft candle glow.

Horizontal shadows fall across the carpet floor.
Soon nights silence, broken by sounds of love.
Pleasured murmurs escape your lips,
tropical illusions as I draw them in my breath.

Nothing wild and dizzy, just gentle like the rain.
My lips find the furrow of separated breasts.
Sweet slowed rhythm of lovers in a trace.
Only the gentle rocking like a baby put to rest.

Soft tender kisses on lips breathing passion.
Sensuous emotions I feel from your soul.
Nurtured deep inside, now wanting to escape.
Fluids mix and swirl like a whirlpool neath the falls.

Spilling in our quest for the storm deep inside.
Overflowing its bounds, glistening in the light.
The tremors and the thunder pass now only calm remains.
Crushed lovers in warm embrace lips wet and velvet.

A rainbow peeked from the spectrum of your smile.
Memories now hurry to find their rightful place.
Mine held in my heart with the vision of your beauty.
Now only tender thoughts as we snuggle in our dreams.
