Be yourself, not someone else, don't sacrifice behavior, You may be hurting someones feelings, not knowing who you are. Lifes hard enough to be ourselves, putt birdies, not a par. You may say this, while doing that, a face you shouldnt wear. It won't take long as you well know, for someone else to care. The friends that should be dear to you, begin to walk away. Hearing not believing, what you have to say. Soon you have a pocket full, of faces to deceive. Saying things, that others know, you really don't believe. Takes time, youv'e not to much of, remembering what to say. All while knowing in your heart, this is not the way. To sort through this and sort through that, picking your disguises. Now who did this belong to? thinking no one be the wiser. How hard you make, your every day, such burdens that you bear. Just be yourself, and no one else, And show them that you care.
