| Hi, Welcome to my hobbies page. All the things you see here were made entirely by me. Everything is made from scratch. I use no kits or ever have. Some things you may not recognize but most all parts are shaped, hammered, filed, and polished from nails, screws, washers, ect. All have working hammer mechanisms non firing nor funtional but never the less move like real guns. The lever action carbine below for instance is a one pc magazine I hollowed from the top and filed out a slide action so when the lever is moved it slides back and cocks the hammer. All pistol cylinders are removable. There is no welding or soldering as all parts wedge fit together other than some places I put pins I bradded to hold things together. The white plastic looking parts are in reality deer antler. Leather was split and scraped to get the pliability to form the tiny shapes. This is all to scale other than the shotgun which was my 1st pc. Many parts only 1 out of 4 or 5 were usable. They show here larger than life and therefore show tiny flaws not seen at scale size. I have no machinest tools other than the normal shop tools in your garage other than my main tool being a Dremel tool using dental bits. and each piece may take 5 to 10 bits before breaking or wearing out. The pics here are not high quality as all were scaned on my scanner and 3-dimentional things are very hard to scan I discovered. The rough edges are where i tried to remove the dark background but ALL edges are smooth on the real thing. Thank you. I hope you enjoy. Tommy/coon |
