    News & Tips

    We're told the second week in January is usually mating season for coon. Females are usually holed up in the dens but males should be running.

    ~~~~~~~~
    In Ohio, the price of coon has finally gone up. There is an auction near Bowling Green that pays up to $20 per coon (stretched and dried). Many other fur traders are paying $8-$10.
    ~~~~~~~~

    This year Kenton Ohio will once again host the Kenton Coondog Trials. It's the 50th Anniversery. See the Events category below for details.
