CHARLIE'S MISSION
Marty returns home to the small town he grew up in after five
years of living in the big city. He immediately finds that much has changed,
including his old flame, who is now doing a steady line with someone else. Even
Nut, his once madcap best friend, seems to have settled down. Then there are the
unpleasant memories of his childhood and his father, which begin to intrude on
his mind.
-
- An old vagabond mysteriously appears in town on the same
day as Marty's return and things begin to happen, things that cannot be
explained normally. Marty begins to suspect there is some connection between
this vagabond and his father, and this
suspicion is reinforced for him when
his father's body arrives home in a coffin. Can Marty come to terms
with his past and satisfactorily explain the strange goings-on before his holiday ends?
