Welcome
Hi welcome to the site, as you can see we're not quite ready for launch yet but I have BIG plans. This site when ready will act as a directory to all the coolest sites on the internet. It won't be a search engine it will have links to sites under subject headings such as Music, Computer and Student, as you can see we have put in some of the buttons. Not all of them are active yet but give them a try. I can't say which ones because we'll be updating the links all the time.
Each recomended site will be reviewed personally by myself or or one of the team (e.g. one of our techies will be doing the computer site reviews) and hopefully eventually by you as well. Right now I am open to any suggestions regarding the site. Do you think there is a category that definately needs to be covered? Can you recomend a great website? or maybe you want to be a part of it - contact me if you want to write reviews.

It's been about 2 months since we started this project and we've made some good progress. The music and computer pages are complete, as is the pets page which we've even managed to add a chat room to. Our next moves will be to work on the other links pages - something that we will be able to do a lot quicker now that exams are out of the way and we've figured out how to use the software properly. Something else we are working on is banner design so that we can swap banners with other sites.
In terms of getting attention (as we are attention seeking people) we have been quite successful at times. We got upto 30 hits in 1 day from all over the world which isn't bad for a site that isn't even built fully yet.

Great boost to the site, this page (and so essentially to whole site) got a 5 star rating in the geocities webpage directory. Ok there's only been one review so far (and it wasn't us) but hopefully it will encourage more visitors and get more good reviews. Still working on fun and games, and once thats done we'll get students started. The Yahoo banner exchange has aparently been stopped but we still plan to run our own.
