Omar y Amigos (Omar and Friends) before each Saturday home game.  45 children from the Boys & Girls Club and the Cleveland Recreation Dept, plus 25 randomly selected children who come through the gate get to join in the fun.

Raised over $500,000 for
WorldVision to help in the December 1999 floods of his native Venezuela.  25,000 of his countrymen were killed in the floods.  Omar spent January 2000 in Venezuela helping the relief effort.
