Well of course the big news for 2005 was meeting my new grandson finally.
In Feb. I flew to Vancouver and spent time with him. Then he, his mommy and I went to Kamloops to help my dearest friend pack and move to this fine city of "Edmonton"
She rented a place across the courtyard from me.
In April she and I made a tour of Sask and Manitobia visiting both of our families and meeting some friends for a few days. We returned home the beginning of May.
WE had a lot of snow, rain and floods during our travels so were happy to see home and nice weather.
In Sept my Grandson brought his Mommy to visit us here for a long weekend, Way to short to suit me.
In September I had to go for much needed surgury, and spent a week in hospital and followed that with a week or so of home care due to problems I ran into.
Nita then decided the only way to keep me from doing stuff was to take me somewhere so we went back to visit her sister and dear friends in Sask and my sister.
Oct saw Halloween and of course we had to make custumes to visit my Dr. and store managers we knew.We had a very good time for sure.
Also in the spring we joined a gym so that takes care of Tues, Thurs and Sat. afternoons, and before you ask,,, Yes it is helping.
Oct also saw Thanksgiving and some of my family returning home to celebrate the ocassion with us.
By Nov everyone was in gear for Christmas and the great shopping. ( what I do best)
Here we are now in Dec. and so far we have a lack of snow and cold. Oh well maybe in 2006
The year brought me many new online friends, who I am sure I will keep for many years.And of course much laughter and joy.
