Samuel L.Jackson's versatile career, which
includes film, television and stage work,
began upon his graduation from Atlanta's
Morehouse College with a degree in
dramatic arts. He went on to perform in
numerous stage plays at Yale Rep, the
Seattle Repetory Theatre and the New
York Shakespeare Festival.

For his work in Spike Lee's Jungle Fever,
Jackson received an award from the
Cannes Film Festival. Among his other
awards are Golden Globe nominations for
Jackie Brown, A Time to Kill and Pulp
Fiction
; Screen Actors Guild and Oscar�
nominations for Pulp Fiction; amd a British
Academy Award for Pulp Fiction.
