In 1986 he completed his training in Pots-dam-Babelsbeg Univercity of Film and Tele-vision. Soon after graduation he had roles in German television and in DEFA, where he stayed until 1991. He dedicated himself to theater roles in Bradensburg and Berlin until 1992.
Today he is living with his wife and daughter in Wandlitz, the part of Berlin.
He is most known from "Our Charlie" and "Hello Onkel Doc!".
