Welcome to the espionage world of the great powers. It is a serious world to the serious people. Many people look at the secret services of their nation in suspicion, but these ultra secret institutions work constantly regarding national security and is the eyes and ears for any policy maker and military planner.


Since I was a kid... I had a dream of being a spy. Ya know... James Bond or as we Sri Lankans love to say "Jamis Banda" (It's a common Sri Lankan name), With all the gadgets, action and women really made me think seriously of being a spy. I gusse I didn't have enough wrinkles on my forehead when I said my name to be a good spy. Anyway I have being following the intelligent agencies in many countries. It seems that most of the time things are just down boring after the cold war was over. But with the emerging threat by terrorists and the mini cold wars fought bitween neighbouring spy agencies, things are still dangerous and exciting. Just before I start... I would like to remind people that if the intelligent agencies in NATO and Russia did not make great efforts to keep a cold war cold, then most of the cities in USA and Russia would have been history.

Police Intelligence officer Shot Dead in the East
A police intelligent officer was shot dead by allegeed LTTE operatives in Batticolo. This was amidst the attempt by goverment to resume peace talks. This is the second direct CFA violation by the LTTE, a few weeks ago an Army Intelligence (DMI) officer was shot dead.


Explosives found under Pipeline on tipoff
Powerfull explosives was discovered under a oil pipeline after the police got a anonymous tipoff. The police recieved a call requesting the intelligence officer by name, the caller gave a discription of the location and hung up. On searching the location the explosives were discovered by the STF. The catch included 5Kg of C4 explosives along with a mine. The land mine had a label attached to it written in Tamil saying "Towards the police side". 		Hot International Spy News

CIA Under Fire
Following the incidents at the Abu-gahab prison in Iraq some of the blame has shifted to private contractoers of the CIA. In a repors by some media institutions, it has identified several civilians under the patrinage of the CIA responsible for "extraction of information" from the inmates. Some of them have requested the accused military personal to make the inmates life "HELL".

NSA listening enough? The NSA of the US has come under scrutiny after it was known that it was in da dark over the 9/11 attacks. NSA is one of the most costly intelligent agencies in the world. It hosts technologies people think are only science fiction and employes the best brains in the world.
