TitleDesign of an Improved Triangular Antenna for mobile applications. Outline1) To build a improved triangular antenna for mobile applications. 2) To investigate the design geometry of the antenna in order to detect objects within the path of travel. 3) To investigate and minimize the ringing effects of the antenna of both the transmission and reception process. Brief DescriptionOne of the latest trends in the communication is the use of ultra wide band signal that covers frequency band between 1G to 20G Hz. The project goal is to develop and measure an improved triangular antenna for ultra wideband communications. Triangular antennas are commonly used as broadband antennas. They can be easily fabricated using printed circuit technology. They provide high bandwidth and their omni-directional radiation pattern. The omni-directional radiation characteristics make it attractive for mobile applications. TechniquesDesign of an Improved Triangular Antenna using modern antenna design principles.
