Meditation
    Meditation is basically focusing your attention on something (sound, sight, breath, smell) in an attempt to slow your mind, or actually stopping it completly. By focusing on the one thing, your mind starts to forget everything else but that one thing, and if you can keep your focus long enough and without distraction, your mind can eventually loose awareness of everything. This is true deep meditation, the deepest form. I've had this once myself, in "nothingness" there is nothing, no actually no-nothing, no time, space, body, it's just total peace. Your mind is still, no thoughts, just clear mindedness, everything is you, it's like the universe is all you, you are everything. And after I came out of nothingness I was filled with extreme uncontrolable joy, I started laughing I was so full of happiness and I didn't know why, I just couldent help it.

     Mediation is the best thing i've ever discovered in my life, yet I still put it behind my social life. I need to see the importantness it has and everyone one else I feel should to. When I first started meditating I felt the change so much, everything was better, I was happy, even without a reason to be happy. I seen everything so clearly and truthfully. I sensed my ignorance and clouded judgement fading. Before when I was doing drugs, I was to ignorant to understand my ignorance, but then I came upon meditation and decided to try it.  And I think everyone should, nothing has this strong of a positive effect on life. It's been proven to lower stress and blood pressure, increase learning speed, memory capacity, understanding, focus and also eliminate or decrease the seriousness of mental disorders such as depression, bipolar disease, aids, cancer, parkinsons and many others. 
     But don't listen to me, try it for yourself, it takes no special tools (though there are alot that can aid in meditation such as cd's and tapes that act as objects of focus) all you need to do is attempt to focus on something. Eliminate as much distraction as possible, don't get mad when you start thinking about something funny you did the other day, or your ex girlfriend or boyfriend, this is normal. Our minds have been thinking in this unorganized way for a long time, and it may take a long time to totally change it. You have to start somewhere sometime. even if it is hard, the changes will be very noticeable. Meditate as long as you can, but don't try and force yourself to stay in meditation, your mind won't be able to handle it as long when you first start. most people starting will be able to meditate for 10-25 minutes, but if your shorter or longer, thats ok, everyone is different,

There you can ask many experienced meditator's questions, they will be happy to answer, they did for me.  You may also like meditating for it's crazy trips into your mind, i've had many weird experiences some unexplainable, but some I can explain are flying down tunnels at incredible speeds, or  falling, spinning around, loss of physical awareness. all very cool things to experience. But if you do get something like this one time, don't try and bring it back cause every meditation is different. Don't try and bring back something from the past, there are better things to come! If you think im crazy or don't believe me try it for yourself. All you need is to believe and don't give up, anyone can do it. the weak give up.
