It seems like I only update this page whenever my Korean class go to the computer lab =P Oh wellz. Much more settled in now. It's getting into that stretch where things just seem to go by quickly. Everything blends into one giant memory. Nothing particular that stands out. Hrm ....

So, I am officially now an UCLA grad student. Things are getting settled in a little bit. Class hours are much more than I expected though. We'll see how that goes. I've cut it down to only 25 hours a week. Hrm ..... Got some research going on, lots of reading though. Bleh, I hate reading =P

Woohoo, nothing but graduation left!!! Last few weeks has been really fun =D My graduation bbq turned out great! Check out the awesome pictures =)

Wow, last semester at Berkeley (well, unless I come back for grad school) Seemed like it was yesterday that I graduated from high school. Time sure flies huh. There were lots of good and bad memories at this place. Really great people that I met and people who I wish I had worked harder to keep in touch with. Let's hope I make the most out of my last semester here =)

Pfft, I don't know what it is, but I had another near death accident again today. So we were driving home from Tahoe after snowboarding (sounds familiar?), and while going down I-80 near Fairfield, a pitbull dog ran out from the center divider across the freeway. The driver stepped on the break and tried to go into the other lane (after checking there's no cars there) but still couldn't avoid hitting the dog. Both air bag deployed, and there were a lot of smoke in the car. The smoke was so bad we were almost suffocated. And I couldn't find the frigging window control for the life of me, bah.... And while we were stopped in the middle of the highway, a car from behind us almost hit us too, despite the fact that we had emergency lights on. So after we had the windows opened and pulled to the side of the road, we suddenly paniced about the smoke and got scared that the car was going to explode or something. So we quickly ran out of the car afterwhich the cops arrived. In retrospect, the impact wasn't that bad, but the air bags almost got us killed. It knocked out the passenger for like 3 seconds, and a lot of smoke came out of the bags which were suffocating us. Anyways, the car was pretty busted, the radiator broke and the windshield cracked. We had to get picked up by my roommate to get home (kudos to him) Hmmm, maybe i won't go snowboarding in tahoe for a while now .... =/

Wow, so I had a near death experience today. As my friends were driving us back after snowboarding at Tahoe, he suddenly fell asleep while driving. The car started to drift off the road and was about to descend down the cliff on the side of the road (not to mention hitting a sharp metal pole and the beginning of the side rails of the road.) Luckily the rest of us noticed something was wrong and was able to push the steering wheel the other way before the car lost complete traction. However, that was not the end of it. The car swerved back onto the road but started to skid on the road. We were extremely fortunate to have not hit anything during this whole ordeal and left the incident without a scratch on us. Nevertheless, it was surely a shocking experience to say the least.

Wow, two entries in a day, I must be high on something =P W00t
we got the AXE!!!!!!! After 7 years of big game losing streak,
Berkeley has finally regained possession of the axe in a rather
anti-climatic win over Stanfurd (not a misspelling) on Saturday
11/23 with an overwhelming score of 30-7. The hero of the day
includes Igber (civil engineer, w00t, go engineers!!!!) who ran
a record high of 226 yards, which is more than the total yardage
for Stanfurd =D After the game, enthusiastic Berkeley fans rushed
the field and broke down both goal posts. (those things are heavy
!!!!!!!!)

Ok, so I've been slacking again =/ I've been
pretty busy with school and all .... well, at least I should be
=P Anywho, I've also been working on another website, the
Chinese Student Association's website. I helped rewrite the
scripts for their messageboard so now it looks much nicer and

Well, I am finally back in US after a good 4 months
of "studying" and traveling n Japan. Classes are a
bit hectic right now, but hopefully I will be able to put up my
pictures, journals, and the AI project I worked on in Japan on my
website soon once I settle down a bit.
