Splinter Cell: Conviction - Delayed Relase
photo

Recently this December, Ubisoft has announced the delay of the release Splinter Cell: Conviction. Splinter Cell's latest addition features Sam Fisher as a fugitive on the run.  As usual, the game emphasizes improvisation and personal maneuverability rather then trigger skills. Originally intended to hit shelves this month, Conviction is still at the Ubisoft labs for further polish and other refinments.  Such a delay will undoubtedly leave holes in the holiday game lineup, but will likely be covered by other games. Splinter Cell Conviction should be released on XBOX 360 in early March 2008.

The wait sucks, but I rather sit and wait for a stellar game rather then play a prematurely released one. Take Kane and Lynch for example. The game had awesome potential. But the crap AI and the buried bugs made it crash and burn. If the guys there just held the game back for two months or something, the game would have been a fantastic shooter.

Yeah man, that's so true. I hope that Ubisoft releases a better sequel. Some of the Splinter Cell releases were slightly boring. I felt that Chaos Theory proved to be the best sequel. It had engaging gameplay and featured an innovative concept. Instead of slowing down gameplay, make your own movements faster! Innovative!
