rocolli, cauliflower, brussel sprouts, and kale is good for you. The benefits outweigh the terrible cost of having to taste them.  I for one would never have guessed. 

Since the 70s, moms have preached the importance of vegetables. Nobody listened and so they fabricated an extensive web of lies, most which appealed to our childhood desires to be friggin Superman. "Eat your carrots, you'll see in the dark!" Lies. "Eat your spinach, you'll buff up like Popeye!" Shameful, just shameful. But as it always turn out, moms are infinitely right, and this time, they're backed by science. Science baby. You can't go wrong with that. So let's get the facts straight. Veggies prevent cancers. A specific compound, known as Indole-3-carbiniol (I3C) has been shown to slow the activity of a cancer-developing enzyme. And as you might have guessed, it's found predominantly in brocolli. Now delving slightly into the technical aspect of things... I3C is found to fight elastase, the nasty stuff that makes chemotherapy useless. Proceedings of the National Academy of Sciences, an academic journal, detailed that I3C is already being used to treat cancers in the larynx. So it's good to know that refined versions of I3C are being made to treat breast and prostate cancers. It's all-natural too. That's a thumbs up.
