Google’s Chrome Browser lets you do much of the same thing when it comes to web surfing…but more. The software is currently in beta form. And so, changes in code will occur periodically -- kind of like Gmail, which is still being refined. Google also simplifies the user interface whilst enhancing the system so that occasional glitches like bad javascript won’t tangle-up your surfing. Quite innovative is that Chrome has productivity applications built right in. Software similar to Flickr, Writely and even Del.icio.us are sure to appear. In the end, it won’t matter which operating system you’re using because all the tools that matter are on the browser.
If you’re still wondering, Chrome is already functional, presumably kicking the asses of Firefox, Opera and even Internet Explorer. There’s the Google search engine, YouTube, and a bunch of other fierce applications that have governed the Internet. Chrome adds an extra angle in Google’s blueprint for world domination. Let's hope they listen to their motto 'Don't Be Evil.'
