"Say Goodbye To Laser"

Microsoft drops a hint for their upcoming September 9 event. I can only assume that the tagline has something to do with the unveiling of some new technology from the MS labs. Who knows? Microsoft may have actually developed a practical alternative to the near-perfect laser mouse. Being perfectly frank though, I can't think of anything that can beat out what we‘re currently using. You can’t go better then high powered beams. That is unless Microsoft has implemented a creative mix of nuclear power/dark matter/magic into their computer mice. If that happens, then yes, I would gladly give up laser.
