Recently, Sony has released PlayTV, a television tuner and recorder which links up to the Playstation 3. As a result, it allows the user to watch one program while simultaneously recording other content. The layout and interface bear resemblance to the media center employed by Windows Vista and even allows users to record programs days in advance. There are hanging speculations that gamers will even be capable of streaming content directly onto their PSPs by means of a Wi-Fi bond. PlayTV will debut in Europe by 2008.
