The Gerudo Pirate's Fortress |

OK. it will probably be most helpful to enter with the Stone Mask in hand. Can't find the fortress? Now, go underwater near the northeast section, and find the boarded up sections near the bottom of the floor. Ram them, and when you find the right one, enter through it.
Put on the Stone Mask because it is much easier to get around. Now, jump onto one of the boats that the pirates are riding. Now get over to the yellow switch that is similar to the ones in the Snowhead Temple. Stand on it, turn into Goron Link, and goron press it. Now, turn into Zora Link, wait til all of the ships have past, and swim underwhere the underwater door opened when you pushed the switch.
Now you are in the Underwater Passage part of the Fortress. It is pretty straight open. Just follow through the little area, breaking the boards just like you did to get in the fortress. Now, watch out for the red water, or it will take you back outside. Now make your way through the spikes, and you will see another platform. Now, you will see a piece of heart. To get this, destroy all of the crates as goron link, and you see a switch. Now, put on the Bunny Hood, and shoot the crystal switch with your bow. This opens the gate to the Piece of Heart. Run to the gate, and grab the piece of heart. This should be no problem with the Bunny Hood. Now swim through the rest of the chamber, watching out for the red water, and you come to the last section of the passage. There is a switch. Step on it as normal Link, and then go onto the vent. Now quickly shoot the crystal switch, and you will be on top of a water jet. Now, head over to the ladder. You might want to destroy the mines by shooting them and making them touch. Head up the ladder, destroy the mines there, shoot the crystal switch behind them, and you unlock the door into the Central Section. |

First, make your way to the tower with the ladder, climb up, and exit into the door there. Now, you make your way to a window with bars, and it attracts your attention to a conversation in the room below. Tatl will point it out, so you can't miss it. The first thing you notice are bees going into their hive. Keep that in mind. When the conversation ends, find the hive, and shoot it. Now the room will be clear for you to roam. So, head back to the Central Chamber, and head into the only room that you can reach without using something to pull you up. You enter the room, and you see a treasure chest. Open it, and you get the Hookshot. OK. Now, there is an aquarium to your left. There is a Zora Egg in it! But how do you get up? Now here's some time to practice using the Hookshot. Now, aim your hookshot at the side closest to you. Fire the Hookshot and you will be on a section that you can stand on. Now turn into Zora Link, and you might want to destroy the Shell Blade in there. Just use the boomerang attack when it opens its mouth. Do this about 2-3 times and he will be destroyed. Now, put the Zora Egg in a bottle, and you are ready to collect the rest in the fortress! (It will be helpful to ge win a bottle from the Beaver Bros. Just go to Zora Cape and hookshot up all of the trees) |

Now, four bottles will be most helpful, so be sure to win a bottle from the Beaver Bros, now that you have the Hookshot. Now, instead of having to make that hike again, you can just use the Hookshot Mark by the door near the Goron Switch. Now, three other rooms have Zora Eggs, so you have to battle three Gerudos, including their leader, Aveil. Just use the Hookshot posts to go into the rooms. They are pretty easy to defeat, just three hits with the Gilded Sword, but they are pretty tough to get a hit on. Just wait for an opening, and BANG! This may also mean getting hit by their swords, which does some damage, but not a lot, so you should be fine. After defeating all of them, grab the Zora Eggs, and head to the aquarium. Put the eggs in, and you are done with the Gerudo Pirates Fortress. |
