MORNING Never a sight more beautiful in the world Than the dawning of the sun over a sandy shore Sparkling from the horizon to the calm blue sea Stretching far across the very tallest tree The flowers are all in blossom As the grass begins to glow A beautiful animal steps across the sand As I lean out and take her hand No more of the beaches Now it's toward the woods we reach Where the trees are like peaceful giants continuing to grow Then blanketed by the soft and drifting snow Gracefully the light Begins to harmonize with the night The colliding forces, it seems Omit an almost Christ like gleam The stars blink out like candles Covered by a golden vandal Converting the darkness into day The moon, it seems has, not any say God has spoke As the Earth awoke But no other thing is so treasured to me Than the early morning, calm, serenity
