Prophase: Homologous chromosomes pair up and form tetrads.
Metaphase: Tetrads move to separate.
Anaphase: Homologous chromosomes split to the poles.
Telophase and Cytokenisis: Cells split.
This is done again, to end up with 2 cells the first time, then 4.
