HULK

Lights Out Entertainment -  Looks like the mean green monster'll have a hard time getting to the big screen. Production for the movie is about two weeks behind and way over budget because of the trouble between Frederick Elmes, the director of photography, and Ang Lee, the director of the film. There are no details on why these two are having a hard time except that they aren't used to dealing with visual effects. According to the scooper from Lights Out, "The hours are long, the crew seem exhausted, and the actors looked to be just plain fed-up with the whole affair."

News from E! Online states that the 'Gamma Dogs of War' will be included in the flick. "A source close to the set reveals that image capturing has begun at a special effects house on actors playing mean, mutated junkyard canines..." Now, I'm not a huge fan of Hulk, so you will think what I'm about to say is dumb, but the name 'Gamma Dogs of War' strikes me as funny. Kinda sounds like that movie 'The Cannibal Women of the Avacado Jungle of Death'. But it was made in the 60's, so of course it's corny. So are names like Marvel Girl and the Green Goblin, but I guess they grow on ya' after a while.

There's an entire scene described by hulkmovie.com. It has to do with the Hulk being captured by the military. I can't post it here because #1: it's too long, and #2: as a rule, I don't put anything on this site that will completely spoil part of the movie. But I can tell you where to find it. Once again, look at www.hulkmovie.com or www.countingdown.com/movies/hulk and check a news article called 'Hulk Scene Described!' (Please, don't try and click the addresses, they aren't links. You have to type them in the address box yourself.)

Okay, so I guess the 'gamma dogs' may not be in the movie after all. Comics2Film says that Peter David, "who is set to write the Hulk movie novelization, approached the issue on Comicon.coms messageboards. ... He belives it's safe to say that Hulk-dog-bites-Banner rumor is, simply put, 'bogus'."

Stan Lee, one of the most renowned artists and creators from Marvel, will have a very, very short cameo in the film. Stan says, "They tell me I'll be driving a car. And I insist on knowing what car, what model, how old is it? But we'll work that out."

Super Hero Hype - This was mentioned on Access Hollywood. The filming of Hulk will be relocated from San Fransisco to Los Angeles. Long drive...

Interesting news from Entertainment Weekly here, it seems as though the Hulk will have nothing but his birthday suit on during the movie. Yes, you heard me, He's NAKED. Universal Executive Mary Parent says, "He's posed in a way that's not revealing. Obviously, we're not having frontal Hulk nudity." Aww, darnit... ;)
