| Rice Krispie Treats Ingredients: 3 Tbs margarine 10 oz. OR 40 regular size marshmallow or 4 cups mini marshmallows 6 cups rice krispies cereal vegetable cooking spray Steps: Melt the margarine in a large saucepan over low heat. Add marshmallow, stirring, until completely melted and smooth; remove from heat Add in Rice Krispies, stirring constantly, until all cereal is mixing with marshmallow. | Fudge Krispies Ingredients: One 11.5 oz. pkg. (2 cups) Nestle Milk Chocolate Morsels 1/2 cup margarine 1/2 cup light corn syrup 2 tsp vanilla extract 1 cup sifted confectioners sugar 4 cups rice krispies cereal Steps: Combine chocolate morsels, margarine, and corn syrup in a medium saucepan Stir over low heat until melted and smooth Remove from heat and stir in vanilla and sugar Add cereal, mixing lightly until well coated Spread evenly in a 13x9x2" greased pan. | Energy Bars Ingredients: nonstick spray 1 c quick cooking rolled oats 1/2 c all-purpose flour 1/2 c Grape Nuts cereal 1/2 tsp ground ginger 1 beaten egg 1/3 c applesauce 1/4 c honey 1/4 c packed brown sugar 2 Tbs cooking oil 1 16 oz. pkg. mixed dried fruit bits 1/4 c sunflower nuts 1/4 c chopped walnuts Steps: Preheat oven 325F. Line 8x8x2" pan with aluminum foil and spray with nonstick spray, set aside. In large bowl, combine oats, flouw, Grape Nuts, and ginger. Add egg, applesauce, honey, brown sugar, and oil; mix well Stir in fruit bits, sunflower nut and walnuts Spread mixture evenly in pan Bake for 30-35 minutes or until lightly brown on edges. | Nutrition Bars Ingredients: 1 pkg. yellow cake mix 3/4 c butter 2 1/2 c quick oats 12 oz. preserves OR jam 1 Tbs. water Preheat oven 375F. Melt the margarine in microwave. Combine cake mix and oats in large bowl. Stir in margarine until mixture is crumbly. Put 3 c in a greased 13x9x2" pan; spread firmly and evenly to cover bottom. Combine preserves and water. Spoon evenly over crumb mixture in pan. Cover with remaining crumb mixture; pat firmly to make top even. Bake 20 minutes or until top is very light brown. Cool completely before cutting into bars. |

| Twisters Ingredients: Biscuit mix Milk or water Honey Follow directions on biscuit box using less water than called for. Twist the dough around the end of a green stick. | Yogurt-Fruit Sundae Ingredients: 1/4 c chopped fruit (strawberries, peaches, bananas, grapes, etc) 2 Tbs plain nonfat yogurt 1 tsp honey 1 Tbs granola or crushed cereal Place chopped fruit in the bottom of a small bowl Drizzle the honey over fruit Cover with yogurt and sprinke the granola or cereal on top;) Reina Hamlet |

| Power Parfait Ingredients: 2 c fresh, frozen OR canned sliced peaches 2 c lowfat vanilla frozen yogurt 1 1/2 c fresh, frozen OR canned berries 1/4 c lowfat granola Steps: Chop 1 1/2 cups peaches, set aside rest for the parfait top. Prepare parfait in 4 tall glasses Layer into each glass: 1/4 c yogurt, 1/3 c chopped peaches, another 1/4 c yogurt, then 1/4 c berries Sprinkle each parfait with a Tbs of granola Top with remaining fruit |
