The Great Ocean Road
This is Victoria's magnificent coastal road! The trip along the road gave us veiws of some of the region's most spectacular scenery and wildlife. Around every turn and curve there was another amazing spread of beach or land before our very eyes.  There were stopping points along the road, plus many small towns to visit for lunch, tea, or the night. We stopped in Lorne and Warrnambool. The drive officially stretches from Geelong in the east to Nelson in the west, covering over 200 km. It was breathtaking!
Beautiful seashores
One of many massive rock formations that jutted out into the surf
The Erskine Falls: Located in the hills behind the town of Lorne, the falls offer a first taste of the many rainforests to come!
