I, as many, many others in this world, believe completeness and total satisfaction cannot come from anything we create (career, family, yep, not even sugar cookies). It can only come from having a love relationship. A love relationship with a man named Jesus.
Everlasting life and hope are found in Him; happiness, comfort and peace of mind are found in Him alone, not in any recipe book, and His love can never be taken away.
Don't get me wrong though, many food dishes are tasty and yummy to our stomaches...but we will get hungry again soon. They don't fill us up in the place where we fell empty or incomplete inside. He can complete us and only He is needed to feel complete inside, nothing else: "For in Christ all the fullness of the Deity live in bodily form and you have been given fullness [completeness] in Christ..." (Col. 2:9-10 NIV)
